Worth The Wait

Today,I’m going to write a little bit differently.Let me know if you notice any change and/or like it

..So..onto today’s topic : Worth the wait. I’m a big dreamer,not the type that dreams too much and forgets to face reality,no..I’m the type that can look at an object or anything and smile because my mind can picture a million things I could turn that object into. Like everyone else,I have dreams..Well I don’t know about you,but what I do know is that if you don’t have dreams then you are in trouble!(kidding!!..no but seriously)..Anyways..We all have dreams,its natural to dream,to want something for your future,first you have to dream it before you can make it happen.Common dreams are graduating,finding the perfect partner,getting that dream job,shopping in Paris e.t.c.Dreams are beautiful,but sometimes they get too hard to follow.You dream and you want that dream to come true so bad but you’re not sure what the future holds.And it gets harder when those dreams take years to come true and you just don’t know whether or not you’d be alive to see that dream come true.

Brave and courageous people always work hard to make their dreams come true.I personally believe in trying,because if you never try then you’ll never know.If you try and it doesn’t work out atleast you know you tried,better than not doing anything at all.I believe that if you have a dream you should give it your all to turn that dream into reality.Dreams come with obstacles,and if you are not strong you might give up easily.

I guess the real question here is if you had a dream,would you atleast try to work on it? Would you give it your 100% and hope that that dream comes true? Would you be strong through all the trials and tribulations that are there to test just how bad you want that dream to come true? Or would you break down? Breaking down isn’t a bad thing,as long as you remember to always stand right back up and keep moving,never giving up.If things get harder and complicated,would you continue to fight,keeping your faith and focus,or would you start to think twice about the journey you started?

We dream,we sweat ourselves all out to make that dream come true,along the way we fall,cry,get tired,bruised and even give up,but some of us still try to keep going,keep fighting,keep pushing,with the hope that everything we’ve sacrificed to make that dream come true would be worth it,and pray that all the other important things we put on hold to make our dreams come true would be worth the wait.

• Went to Prosi to get stuff for my hair
• Went to Miss Sixty to get new skinny jeans(Only store that has sizes for my small waist)
• Got a Pink suitcase..Yes I said PINK
• Updated my Ipod with new songs
• Got my hair did *thanks Kemi
• Started packing
• Watched a movie(title is in German,sorry can’t translate)
• Ate Chinese *hehe

Things That I'll Never Forget

Hey people..It's like 4:30a.m and I can't sleep,been going around,reading blogs and I got inspired to drop something here.But before I do that,I shall give you a few gists..

I am going to London for 3 weeks soon,and I have like 3 lists titled "Things to buy".."Stuff to take"..and "London Prep"..You see,I am a very organized person,and when things are not in order I start to panic,it's just the way I are.So I'm going shopping next week,and then I'll pack.

..I think that's the only gist I have,I probably forgot the rest,pardon my CRS(can't remember shit)

So back to the why I started this post..things that I'll never forget

1. The day that phone rang, my aunt answered it and 2 secs later she started crying. She said my mom died(durring Hajj),I ran to the neighbor's,called all my friends and bought candies,I don't know what I was thinking,but I think I thought dying meant something good and happy

2.The times when my dad played "single dad"..He'd wake my brother and I,give us a bath,and get us ready for school,help us with our homeworks after work and take us out on weekends.Then one day I had hair lice cuz he always forgot to wash my hair,and he packed our stuff and took us to some family friend's house.

3.Living in a full house with aunts,uncles,cousins,siblings,maids and what not..That meant more fun,playing whot all day during the holidays,going out to parks,shopping,lunch and late night solo of suya,icecream,indomie or anything yummy

4.Getting my first mobile phone,I was 14 and the only student with a mobile phone..It was a Nokia 88--

5.All the weddings in the Sanusi Family,planning secret parties for the bride and groom without the grown-ups knowing,amen!

6.The day I left Nigeria

7.The day I became Sickle cell anaemia free

8.The day my dad cried cuz he missed my mom,I thought he had forgotten about her and fallen in love with my step mom

9.Falling in love

10.Learning who I was,what I wanted,who I wanted to be on my hospital bed

The list is getting long and endless,plus babygirl is bored..I need to go pack,or eat,or sleep,or umm..ok bye,x

Family and Forever 21

Hey guys,how's it going? I'm blank at the moment,but I feel the urge to blog..so here goes..

..I'm gonna start with what I've been upto..and then what's on my mind..

..My parents came to visit me,along with my lil bro.It was mucho fun like always,spent time together,went shopping(someone say amen),took them to watch Slumdog Millionaire(which they loved),went out to dinner,chilled at home and ate all sorts of junk,and everyone complained about how I take too many pictures and how I might aswell open a studio and become a real photographer. You know,that's not a bad idea,I like the sound of it.When I'm done studying Business Administration,I'm gonna go polish my photography skills and then we'll see about that studio..hehe*

..So after the folks left,I got around to finally planning my 21st birthday.Been through a lot lately that I didn't even wanna celebrate my birthday anymore(this is coming from someone who usually plans her birthday atleast 4weeks before the date).Anyhoo,I finally decided to do something so I wouldn't end up regretting not celebrating my 21st,and hey..you only turn 21 once,it's a huge,big deal.

..I ordered cakes,yes cakes,there were 2 of them..yummy yummy,reserved a table at a really nice restaurant to have dinner with friends during the weekend,and then decided to go to Lionel Richie's concert on my day.It was mucho fun,he's sooo good,rawr*..I wish he could be my sugar daddy,no kidding! The birthday dinner was fun as well,I kinda thought it would suck since I've never celebrated my birthday on a different date,but it was soo much fun,too many jokes,laughter and love all around,not to mention the many surprise presents I got.I felt,and still feel loved *blush..And thank you once again to those who called/smsed/facebook walled,messaged me to wish me a tres happy bday,I really appreciate it.
